In Job Interviews, Never prepair yourself against a Set of Questions you believe you will be asked: You will flunk.

As this image suggest you are not in a position to have the faintest idea of what the Interviewer will ask you?

Hence, the best approach is to prepair yourself for a SALE: Yes a Sales, of what you have, that the Company is looking for. But in order to do that, you first need to collect intelligence on the company be it:

  • From the Market
  • From previous interviews
  • From Insiders
  • From People may know the company
  • From the LinkedIn Job Description of the Position of the person you are going to replace.

In other words, Never ever go to an Interview without executing Self Audit & DUE DILIGENCE

Interesting and usefull

I wish I had known these things years ago, when I went for all those useless job interviews.
You are right about the questions. You shouldn't worry about them, you should be more concerned with selling yourself to a potential employer.
That's the hard part.

Selling yourself is not really hard if you train yourself :

  • Make sure you understand what the market is searching and why?
  • Then run a self audit of what you know that you feel is what the market is searching for
  • Practice your presentation. You only needs to present your experience, Skills and abilities centered on what you consider are the market expectations
