Internet is a worldwide computer system network in which users can obtain information from other computer provided permission is obtained.
The types of mobile internet network base on strenght are GPRS, EDGE, 3G, H, H+ and 4G.
Their symbols are G, E, 3G, H, H+ and 4G respectively.
Full meaning of the above abbreviations are General Packet Radio Service(G), Enhanced Data Rates For GSM Evolution(EDGE), Third Generation(3G), High Speed Packet(HSPA), High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA). Fouth Generation(4G).
GENERAL PACKET RADIO SERVICE( GPRS)
GPRS is termed as the slowest speed of internet data transfer in mobile devices. It's Data rates is between 56 and 114kilobit/second.
ENHANCED DATA RATES FOR GSM EVOLUTION (EDGE).
It falls between 2G and 3G. Some of my friends call it 2.5G.
EDGE is faster than GPRS. In this case is still not excellent to browse and surf the web. It also takes a lot of time to load website. The data transfer rates is 1Mbite/second. It is also termed as 2.75G.
THIRD GENERATION (3G)
It is the third generation of mobile network. Its data transfer rate is 384 kilobite/second. It can go as high as 42mbites/second depending on how the network is structurized. Its faster than EDGE and GPRS.
HIGH SPEED PACKET ACCESS(HSPA)
HSPA provides higher data transfer than the 3G. It's peak data transfer is 14Mbit/second for downloads and 5.75Mbits/second for uplink.
HIGH SPEED DOWNLINK PACKET ACCESS(HSDPA)
It is the upgrade of HSPA. Its faster than HSPA(H).
FOURTH GENERATION(4G)
If you are using 4G you are lucky because its uncommon. Its the fastest internet connection available on the globe. Its also called LTE that is Long term Evolution.
Choose between the above explained mobile network strenghts and browse the web to the highest peak😆. Thanks.
