Some Journal Thought Before Sleep To The Virtual City That Never Sleeps.

Feeling sorta tired and alright during the days. Still feeling shaking off of the winter! Life has been a tough go in these last years yet we still are doing well here, me and the family I mean. Still dampened by a cloud of poverty, hard to move and get out. I must remind my self to change routine, stay fresh.

Been grappling with raw life inside my mind, trying to reach out, even to books and music. I regained the sense of some underground music and my own innate sensibilities. Having my industrial music kick and 2pac and Outlaws as of late. The 2pac movie and new Outlawz music is taking me back to an awesome place!

I feel like even Kurt Cobain is resurrected! I put 2pac and John Lennon together for revolutionary insight. Put Industrial music and Kurt Cobain there too and you know it's a feeling of getting on top from the bottom! I like 2pac spiritually uplifting people in the ghetto with ideas like Ghetto Gospel and Black Jesus! Brilliant!

That's what hurts in the social and society is the lack of being spiritually uplifted acting like it's cool to be down in the dumps. Use this cultural myth of an apocalypse as an excuse to do self harm or violence. I see it as a self fulfilling prophesy when society stereotypes and put people down and they in turn believe it and resent their oppressor, giving them more power to hold them down in a vicious cycle.

If your told your stupid and believe it you'll be mad at your self and your oppressor in the wrong way. You have to find a tangible spiritual uplift in even the ability to question your situation and the world around you. Life strives to live and reach out! Not curl up and give up! But the society is built for you to fail, especially if your poor and keep you there. Free yourself from the psychological warfare in your brain first, then you can help yourself and others.
