How and Why to Start a Journal?

Lot of us are fun of writing our experiences. We would write down what happened during our last travel or during the day and maybe write things that make us happy or sad. That's why people want to keep a journal.

Yes! We want to keep a journal but a lot of us just don't know where to start. What should I write about? What kind of journal should I use? When should I write?

In writing a journal, it is not really necessary that you follow the standard formats that the internet offers. You can have your own format. Do not be afraid to commit mistakes. Don't worry about doing it perfectly because it's for you. It's okay to have erasures. As long as you have recorded the things that you want to keep. Just feel free to write about whatever is on your mind and keep going until its done. Because journal is supposed to be personal, after all.
