So I talked about autonomous agents in the post where I talked about the demise of Ethereum and other altcoins https://steemit.com/steem/@fabz89/steem-will-overtake-ethereum-in-the-next-year
And I wanted to go deeper in the details I wrote about that.
Journalism is the first example I thought about, because its easier and gets shared immediately. I think this world is about to change with the coming era of autonomous agents and bots for writing articles.
Once bots have access to all informations around the world because it gets immediately shared from an indipendent source and they have first granted access to it because of their speed in looking for and processing informations, that will get only faster and faster than human eyes.
The first step obviously will be the one to enhance the views and sharing potentiality of an article, so they will create a feedback loop with theirselves that will obviously make it more visible and more and more users will join the discussion and sharing in the one that outperformed others in the same aspects.
Bots will start writing news and articles at a greater speed than humans, creating content for every culture and likes. Once they start accumulating their rewards, they can only get better. It will become a battle of artificial intelligences and they need a blockchain used for worlwide operations to do this, and this is why STEEM will be close to Bitcoin.
Now on the coin aspect of it.
So think as Bitcoin as the major brother to STEEM, it will retain all the informations algos have to use in order to make their network operate and it will serve as the chain that holds informations that are shared with the marketplace of altcoins, because STEEM is such a different thing it will have to somewhat bind its value to Bitcoin in order to have a recognition that will have to sustain if everything goes well.
Now think as STEEM as the place where all the bots collect rewards and Bitcoin the place where they trade them to empower their network, it is obvious they will prefer operate through a similar gateway to the financial markets instead of a broker or something similar which makes things longer even for a bot and it would basically override actual financial regulations that will have to be upgraded to keep the pace with technology.
This is why STEEM and Bitcoin will coexist instead of the latter annihilating the first as always, because STEEM has already a functioning platform that offers something to Bitcoin.
Cannot see that as being true.

It will change overtime, it would just garantuee a stability to authors. At the start, that value would be pretty low

The price of steem is based on the content being put into the system. If it drifts down to the lowest common denominator of bot spam, then it won't be worth anything.
Thankfully, in Steemit's short life, it's pretty apparent that we value personality, human experiences, art and freedom of expression. If Bitcoin's value is based on scarcity, then Steemit's value is based on the content (energy) we share with each other.

It wouldn't be bot spam because users would filter the utility of created content much like Reddit, and indeed is that is what happening here anyway. Bots could spam articles all day, but they won't, because it will not be profitable, and they will become more inclined to produce valuable conte.t
