What journalism is all about for a student

I am actually a Junior High school student , you are maybe thinking about why do I study journalism at a young age. Journalism subject is actually a part of my curriculum which is SPECIAL PROGRAM IN JOURNALISM.

Journalism is a wonderful part of my life since Freshmen, it is pretty hard at first and I had a lot of red marks (correction marks) whenever I submit my reaction paper and Articles (News articles) where we are asked to cover an event (National, local and International). Here in our country, which is Philippines, a dark skin (fair) is the usual skin tone of Campus journalists (it is what you call a student journalist).

About the Lessons taught in our curriculum, it is actually based on the International and college lessons and activities; we are actually sent out of our school to join National Schools Press Conference where we compete on other journalists.

In the present, I am now a Grade 9 student and we are currently on Television Broadcasting, well at first it is pretty hard to memorize all the T.V. Broadcasting jargons (terminologies), but as we go on to our daily lessons, I can already understand the words that mostly only Professional Journalists understand just like outcue, Underlay, crawlers and a lot more interesting things.
