Radical Transparency: Weapon of Mass Liberation? is an upcoming theatrical documentary, and as part of our transparent process in researching stories, we’ve decided to share some of our research interviews publicly. Our mission is to help give tools to the wider public, helping them understand the tech driven changes happening all around them. You can read more about that here.
During our recent research interview with Benji Rogers, founder of Dot Blockchain Media we started talking about fake — and faked — news, and how decentralized blockchain tools for journalists can be part of the solution. It’s a fundamental rethink of not how we publish news, but how we make it. That struck a chord with us as storytellers with a mission to inform, and so it’s the first extract we’re sharing.
In the near future we’ll be uploading more extracts like these, from politicians, from hacktivists, entrepreneurs, and those who have a focus on social issues and how society is being changed. There are some fascinating insights from people who spend each and every day thinking and doing in this area every day or every week. We’re making a special effort to include women and other less heard voices in tech, so please let us know if you think there is someone we should be talking to.
All interviews will be on our YouTube channel, so please do subscribe.
