[How To] Become Rich & Internet Famous
Everybody has a dream. Some dream of having a fast car. Some have a dream to be famous, some have a dream to be rich. Some have a dream to be both rich AND internet famous.
I see so many people spending their time on social media wasting their life playing games (STOP SENDING ME GAME REQUESTS), posting thought provoking content on Facebook, amazing business content on LinkedIn, commenting, liking, tweeting...FOR WHAT?
They leave you out in the cold...
The user get nothing from it. They are merely content providers in a content farm that leverages their content to advertise to them, sell others ad space, sharing your data at your expense (it actually costs you) and not paying you a single dime.
The platform gets everything, in return for providing a place for you to come and allow them to monetize you.

Building Social Equity
With the advent of Steemit, users can now share in the wealth of their contributions to the community. The next goal is to get traction, eyeballs, votes, participation...the key to everything.
I created this post to help startups, small businesses, and Steemers like you get exposure. It is over 10127+ words long, and is full of straight up content to help you get more exposure to your posts, your work, your dreams, whatever you want.
If we all work together on getting exposure for ourselves and for the community, the Steemit project, and the message we bring - how can we NOT be successful? All of us are evangelists, and the more this community grows through our efforts, the more it will yield us.
Create, help, share. Contribute. Do not worry about WHAT you will get out of the contribution, just add value.
I have taught the concept of something I describe as Social Equity for years to people all around the world. It is the concept of creating value for others to build your value to them. By building your value you are able to cash in on that value in the form of business deals, referrals, meetings, networking, etc.
But building Social Equity also allows you to become an influencer. This is an important concept to understand. As you become an influencer to others, you are able to extract some of the value you have built by influencing their decisions, their habits, their idea's, and even what they buy or sell.
Peertracks was an amazing example of digitizing this concept of Social Equity into tokens of value capable of exchange. As an early investor in Peertracks, I was very pleased to see the concept blossoming into a fully fledged digital "SWEAT EQUITY". Steemit takes the same concept and applies it differently to reach the same end.
By building our individual Social Equity here, it builds the cumulative equity of Steemit. By discussing our platform we choose to publish our content on, and why we chose it...we do exactly what needs to be done to help all of us become more successful. We spread the word, we bring interest and users, we bring value in forms OTHER than just writing a post and hitting publish.
Don't worry about what you get out of things.
The biggest thing I have realized in the many years I have ran my own businesses is that you must concern yourself with one thing and one thing only.
By creating value to your audience.
It comes down to giving freely and spending time providing a real value. Doing that will enable you to become more successful, you WILL make more money, and you WILL become and influencer.
Go bring some value, and I will too.
Let's go rock this together!
Keep Working Hard,
Michael
