TOP 5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD MEET STEEMIT USERS AND NOT JUST ONLINE

1. It’s not tinder. It’s Steemit!
It is a completely different mindset for this community. For us so far, it has started for us as a super casual and relaxed way to get to know people you have only met via Steemit.

2. Step out of the comfort zone.
It's hard to enjoy more out of life when you are afraid to break out of your comfort zone.

3. Meeting in person is "more real”.
A: We don’t live all the time behind a screen. Go get that Vitamin D (sun) and express yourself more freely without the constraints of a written conversation.

4. Meet people while you travel.
Find new things to do. Learn more about the locals.

5. We all get stuck sometimes.
Meeting people face-to-face from the steemit community is exhilarating. You can be inspired enough to break that writer’s block and become more invested toward this awesome community.

We were excited when we read a post by @steemrollin of him saying he is organizing a SF meetup for the Steemit Community

We wanted to meet @steemrollin because we were inspired by his posts. He was giving the history about @steemit and the community. This also pulled us to become even more excited to know more about the #blockchain and #cryptocurrency that we wanted to set up a community back in LA. Also we were invited from LA to SF to be judges by Code2040 up in SF. It was a hackathon for blacks and latinx at the Hack4diversity hackathon that took place at Github HQ. It was happening during the weekend of July 23-24th. Might as well kill 2 bird with one stone. Will post that in the next blog.
