A few thoughts on bores. Surely there is no room or time now for boredom, not with streaming, web and blockchain... The actor George Sanders killed himself (1972) because he was so bored**. James Joyce is reported (by bookseller Sylvia Beach) to have said “I never met a bore" - a noble sentiment, possibly true. Duchamp said that he never saw a painting from which he was unable to get something of interest.
