LIVING WATER

Living water, radical gush from fountain slush,
Spring forth and fill my main
Flush the rubbles of squalor
Clad me with your glory and grandeur
Flow like waterfall in curious meander
And revive my name in the hall of fame
With your bubbling splash and lifeful flows.

Drown me in your tidal spindle
Wash the dribs, drabs and the caboodle,
Flow with the innocence of snow on the avalanche,
Awaken my thews from its forlorn drab
Give me health, the greatest wealth.

That I may stand unblemished
Through the good, bad and the ugly
Plant my frail hopes on pastures new,
Unearth dying dreams from sleepy deep,
Flow from my belly like a happy river
Living water, Flow! Flow..
