Aburame Shibi is a jōnin in Konoha-Gakure and father of Shino. Like every clan member, he wears dark glasses and clothing that covers most of the body. He is called the pride of the Aburame family, of which he is a leader.
He first appears during the fights for Konoha, when he sets out to help his son who fought Kankurō. He saved Shino from the poison that his opponent poisoned him with his worms, which gradually began to remove her from the body. He appears again during the Nagato attack, where he and his family fight against Konan.
