Spiritual warfare: This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom

The first and second epistles to the Thessalonians have a great thematic similarity, and describe the spiritual warfare that took place around the preaching of the gospel among the first Christians, during Paul's second missionary journey. Because as the Bible teaches with wisdom, the spiritual teachings are rejected in a world given over to the love of money and greed: "My child, when you come to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for trials" Ben Sira 2:1.
The apostle Paul founded the church of Thessalonica in the midst of great difficulties and was persecuted, having to leave the city in an unexpected way, escaping at night. After this, he went to Athens, where he wrote his first letter to the Church of Thessalonica, and then preached in the city of Corinth where he probably wrote his second letter.
After leaving this fledgling Christian community, Paul was very concerned, the believers had been left with insufficient formation; and the spiritual warfare in the thought of the church is not precisely the fight between good and evil, but the fight between the true spiritual revelation of the faith against the heresy (the teaching of error) and the ignorance.
For this reason, facing the danger of heresies and the hostility of those who reject the Kingdom, when the apostle wrote to the Thessalonians, he placed great emphasis above all on the growth of believers in the faith and the spiritual love (Agape), and with these words he expressed this fact at the beginning of his second epistle:
"We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing. Therefore we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions that you are enduring.
This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering" 2 Thessalonians 1:3-5.
