The judgment of the Lord: You, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? Romans 2:21

Let us remember that Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles, the first to bring the gospels to the Greeks through his missionary journeys, the most important work of the apostle was not only to spread the gospel among the pagans, but also to separate in his teachings, the law of Moses from the doctrine of the Kingdom of Heaven. Paul leaves us a precise message, the Kingdom of God is the empire of perseverance, the domain of wisdom, the government of good discernment: "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect" Matthew 5:48.
We are all subject to the judgment of the Lord explains the apostle Paul in his epistle to the Romans, no one can hide their bad deeds and intentions, God is wise and does not show favoritism, he acts unfailingly through his divine and perfect laws, and in this case, the law of reaping and sowing: "God will repay each person according to what they have done", Romans 2:6.
The apostle Paul also warns us that the Law of Moses does not justify us before God and gives to us the example of the doctors of the Law who were so rigid in their words for the fulfillment of all the precepts of the Law of Moses, but that in the end, this same Law became in a mask to hide greed and selfishness:
"If you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark, and instructor of the foolish, a teacher of little children, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth— you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?" Romans 2:19-23.
According to Paul's thought, accepting Jesus as a personal savior consists of leaving behind the slavery of the Law and of sin, to accept the freedom of the spirit, the freedom of mercy and piety like the Good Samaritan.
