It is home juicing time again. In the middle of the winter this can be a challenge when you want to use homegrown ingredients. For today's juice I've chosen the following four delicacies.
- Homegrown carrots from my father's garden
- Beetroot from a local farmer's field
- Apples from the grocery store
- Ginger From the grocery store
Let's start cleaning and chopping all four into the pieces, suitable for the Hurom 400 juicer.
Apples
Ginger
Beetroot
Carrots
Ready to juice.
Final result

Half a liter of juice came out which is less that when you juice fresh vegetables. It is obvious that the carrots were a bit dry.
The taste was refreshing as always. None of the ingredients prevailed over other. When I have too choose the strongest taste I would say that it is a tie between carrots and beetroot.
Cheers :)
Ps: my last juicing article was published five months ago, in August. How time flies.

Looks yummy :) And I bet it's great since it has homegrown veggies. Since you put beetroot, this has to be very good for your blood.

Yes, carrots for eyes and beetroot for blood. A winning combination :)
