I've got a few projects that I'm bouncing around in my head at the moment but there is one that will always be at the forefront and that's making Junction R-7 a reality.
Now I'm not going to create a replica of it from Fallout Equestria, though if I can find some rail cars in addition to shipping containers on the cheap I won't turn it down, but I want to create what could have been. In that world Junction R-7 only exists because the war between ponies and zebras had escalated to the use of mega spells which is their version of nukes. 200 years later the wasteland is a world of violence with the warring factions of slavers, raiders, Steel Rangers, and many others just fighting to survive.
Junction R-7 was run by a Griffin mercenary and her group called the Talons. It was there that the hero of the story, Littlepip, had to make an important choice that could determine the fate of her friends and the wasteland itself. After listening to the audio book several times, and reading it as well there was no other option for what I could name my intentional community.
I'm keeping my eye out for cheap but plentiful land because of what I have planned. I've become obsessed with monolithic domes. I really like the way they look. I don't know if it was catching Logan's Run on late night TV as a kid or playing Chrono Trigger where the future had domed cities but I love the dome! If you've got 45 minutes to kill here's a video about them.
