An Exclusive, One-Time, Rare Peek Into Steemit's Upcoming User Interface for WhalessteemCreated with Sketch.

This morning, a little bird dropped a brown-bag in front of my lawn. It contained an SD card with some very peculiar images. All I can say is, holy sheet.. it's getting real. That's it, all of us in the lower ranks of the platform are being systematically reduced to mere numbers and statistics, causes and effects. Don't make me a slave, dammit!

I am just joking, in case you didn't get it!

These are slightly-modified screenshots of a game called Democracy 3, and it's available on Steam here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/245470/

Been playing this for quite some time now. The problem with simulation games are as always - there's a box, and you can't do stuff that are out-of-the-box.. like what if I want to perfect all technologies that are related to renewable energy? Unless coded as part of gameplay, preset simulations would never process the workings of an eco-sustainable and voluntary society.

Update: To pack this post with a little more useful info, perhaps you're new and may have missed a few Steem-based statistical sites. Here are some of them:-

  • steemd.com
  • steemstats.com
  • steempunks.com
  • more stuff over at steemtools.com

Look damn awesome man even though it is just for fun!

@roelandp should make a fictional simulation like the one above based on actual STEEM blockchain stats..

YEAH!

Haha, I liked your intro. Democracy 3 is a very nice game, and super hard. It takes a lot of time to learn how to play it properly without losing..

I've one saved game, it's already stagnant, as if it's reached some utopian dream lol. Thanks for dropping by! :)

Now I'm wondering if whales do have a special app for Steemit so they can spot posts to cast their blessing over

Maybe they have something even more complex than this.. who knows LOL.

I get assassinated every time lmao

Lol.. a screenshot of the state before the event?

I don't have one. Its the battenburg group that keeps doing it lol

I wish there's a more "liquid" kind of simulation game where it just isn't about democracy or whatever, but i guess it's quite difficult to imagine out the details, making them part of a playable game.

its still being updated so it is getting better

Yeah, look at no man's sky. Your vision doesn't matter if your team isn't big enough to carry it out.

I'm still waiting for my refund!

This looks like it would be fun. Now I have another thing to take up my time!

Just text and symbol-heavy.. statistics, not much else. It's simple / comprehensive enough for fun..

The weird thing is that is something that I love! Facts, figures , tables are interesting - I think it is one of the reasons why I love strategy games. I deliberately try to avoid them now because I find them so addictive:)

Everyone's got a bit of a god complex :p
That's why Farmville is (or was) that popular!

Facts, figures , tables are interesting

Lol, there's this game called Tropico 5 - absolutely funny game with all its comedic and twisted nation-state advisors

I will need to check it out!
