Guns of the Apocalypse

I actually enjoyed this film, it is not a big budget Hollywood production. It is filmed in black and white, but then again even if it was filmed in color Minnesota in the winter is a lot like Alaska and mother nature just does not have a lot of color, and being in black and white gave this mash-up of a film more punch. It really has not gotten very many good reviews, IMBd has a rating of 3.7 out of five stars and Amazon 3.6. So despite some pretty bad review, enough people viewed and kind of liked it. So what is the movie about?

Synopsis from the Movies home page - http://sainteuphoria.com/guns.html -

In writer/director Christopher R. Mihm's "post-apocalyptic-spaghetti-Midwestern," a man with no name is forced into a world of danger and bloodshed after he saves a scientist and a gifted child from a horde of radiation-scarred mutants. Though he would prefer to stay hidden until he can escape to a new life, something about the child—and the murderous "Death Dealers" hunting her—makes him realize he has no choice but to protect her or risk being responsible for the potential extinction of the human race!

I thought the whole mash-up worked pretty good, you have E.T (of phone home fame), and the "Man with No Name", "Shootout at the OK Corral", and a little bit of Santa Clause in the movie, and of course Dudley Do-Right's arch nemesis - "Snidely Whiplash". yeah it is a little campy, was it fun to watch, yeah, I enjoyed it. It was free on Amazon Prime video.

No this was not an entry, just my try to illustrate ONE of his simple rules:

If you aren't a particularly good writer, that's fine, it won't be a deciding factor into whether you receive a delegation or not, it's just to add a bit of fun and fresh content to Steem, plus, I'm a huge fan of movies. So after reading his post, I decided to add my tiny bit of fun and fresh content So if you have less than 1000SP, are active on the block chain, go and visit his link and maybe think about applying.

Looks interesting. Two of my favourite genres. Post-Apocalyptic and Spaghetti-Western.

It is a definite B movie, almost as in a backyard movie, but it did have a sort of plot, it was kind of funny, most important of all...it had an ending. I have watched to many movies lately that just end with no ending, so that was a plus. I think they had fun making it.

Well B-movies are right up my alley. I actually adore lo-fi movies and a lot the stuff I do is lo-fi practical sci-fi props and fx.
