HF 20 Recap / Page Edits

Week 37 and the beat goes on. This week there will be another go at the full switch over th HF20. Not such a great test last week, but it did get fixed and all's well that ends well as the saying goes. Got a post that needs fixing? Unlimited page edits may be here.

Requirements

Image created and provided by: @amariespeaks
So, if you are new to steemit and meet the criteria below I will try to help at least one individual that responds:

• a steemit newbie, that has a rank of not more than 45
• has a good and quality blog
• has less than 90 days on steemit
• I will only resteem One post, and that is not a guarantee

If you would like your blog to be resteemed, read, commented on, and voted on, leave a link to one of your blog post in the comments below and I will try to help. If you have a question I will try to answer it, or direct you to someone or a post that may be of help. Steemit can be overwhelming at times, but there are people that do try to take the time and help others.

HF20 Recap

18 of the top 20 witnesses are already running ver 0.20.2 of the steemit node. Two are still on earlier version, I am thinking they are going to be the safety net people incase something goes awry again. To find some updates and stuff on HF20 you can use this link https://steemit.com/trending/hf20 Of course not all the links are really going to be about HF20, you will just need to search through the chaff to find the little bits of gold. If you want to see some of the action if there is any:

I enjoyed watching those two channels switching back and forth to see what was being said. It was interesting. So I thought I would provide those links for everyone. Of course there will be plenty of back and forth banter in most of the discord chat rooms associated with your favorite parts of steemit, hopefully it will all run smoothly.

Page Edits and Profiles

Are you sharing a story, or do you need to have a page you can edit and add to as items become available? Tired of losing that special link you have? Need a table of contents for a book you are sharing on steemit but are not done with? It used to be impossible to edit a post after seven (7) days. I do not know if the following will continue to work after Hard Fork 20, or if it will be fully implemented in HF 20. For now though Tim Cliff has this post: https://steemit.com/condenser/@timcliff/unlimited-content-editing from 2 months ago, read it carefully follow the hints and the clues.

Asher and a few others, (myself included) have created Profile pages. If you want to follow suit Title it initially Profile you can always go back and re-title it. Or if you are on one of the systems that lets you pick address file name name it:
https://steemit.com/index/@{yourname}/profile
The first two tags you should use are #index and #profile. Steemit auto name takes the first tag name for the filename save followed by the page title. Thus the importance of the first tag #index, and the post name Profile.

Of course if you are using it as a means of keeping a TOC updated then for each chapter you just link to the TOC, and it won't matter what the first tag or title of the TOC is. No more having to add a link to each and every chapter and making the story look scary long with a really skinny right hand scroll bar.

I can see a lot of benefit to being able to edit content.

Conclusion

If you would like to have a post resteemed and you meet the above requirements let me know in the comments, also if there is anything you need help on or a question you feel uncomfortable asking someone else, just drop it in the comments, I will try to answer or find someone who has the answer.
