Friday's End

Yesterday on Friday, I actually made two post, I don't normally do that. It was #featheredfriday and I had been waiting to post my pictures, the birds are finally showing up. It was a kind of nice day so we went out for an early afternoon drive, well as you can see I had some new photo fun with some of the pictures I took. Well the day did not end there, we had a pretty nice sunset happening so we went back down to the beach. It was a good move.

From the new panoramic creation software I am trying out. (demo version of Autostitch, from the University of British Colombia, Canada) I have this two image stitch to present. I think it did a rather nice job of it.

Big Picture

That is the same beach featured in yesterdays post only about five hours later.

Of course I did some edits on it after creating the pano shot. Here are the two original jpegs, the only edits done on these two shots was resizing.

A little tweak here with Nikon View NX-I, a slight change there with Nikon Capture D, another little adjustment with Corel Paintshop, and a final tweak with Paint.net. It would be really nice to have a five in one program, but each one does something a little different, and have different effects. I do end up getting lost in the edits sometimes.

So still pretty pleased with the Auto Stitch demo program.

Love the panorama shot. It looks very autumn like not spring like though.

Auto Stich seems to work so well makes for a fabulous pano :)

It will do up and down photos also not just left and right. I did have one try where I got a lot of ghost imaging of the mountains but it still looked pretty good.

thats cool I find up and down images are really hard to stitch together

Look very good @bashadow. Looks like the software does what it offers, as I couldnt tell the stitched picture was stitched :)

It is pretty simple to use also, you have minimal edit options with it, but it does a nice job putting the pieces together.

I will try it out ;) Thanks for the tip!

Amazing photos as always.

Thank you I enjoy seeing other parts of the world, so thought I would share some of my parts of the world.

Nice work on stitching it up seamlessly!

I think it works pretty good so far, will still be testing for a bit, I do like the panoramic shots.
