Jesus said: And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night?

Determination (the spiritual gift of perseverance) is fundamental in the fight for life, people who have "progressive constancy" (gift of fear of God) and who never give up are the ones who achieve success. Blind faith, or by itself, is sterile and does not bear fruit. Faith must be accompanied by other gifts and even more so when we live in a world of "unjust judges" who put stones on us along our way.
This is what Jesus teaches us in one of his stories, the parable of the persistent widow and the unjust judge:
"Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said: ´In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ´Grant me justice against my adversary.´
´For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ´Even though I don't fear God or care what people think, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually come and attack me!´´
And the Lord said, ´Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?´", Luke 18:1-7.

Jesus puts the widow as an example to explain the effects of constancy, we must pray to God with firmness in our actions. To understand the Kingdom of God, we have to accept that inconstancy is a problem of ordinary and simple people, Jesus emphasizes this. People are constantly tempted by the immediate, for example the playful, and forget the long-term benefits of the work culture. God blesses those who persist with faith, like Job.
