At the time of his death, he was 78 years old.
He died on Tuesday evening in a private hospital in Dhaka.
Amirul Kabir Chowdhury's younger son, Rajin Ahmed, told reporters that he was admitted to the hospital on March 25 following old age complications. Afterwards his lung infection occurs. Eventually he died on Tuesday.
Justice Amirul Kabir Chowdhury was born on 23 June 1940 in the village of Nonachari in Ramu upazila of Cox's Bazar district. His father's name is Late Ghulam Kabir Chowdhury and mother's name is Guleran Begum Chowdhury.
