Doctors, have you ever had a patient so bad that you asked them to find another practice?
Just one.
He's Justin Streicher. He was a Suboxone patient of mine in West Bend, WI, as was his girlfriend, Leann Leszynski. I get it: some Suboxone patients use the medication as a “bridge drug” that keeps them out of withdrawal until they can get their narcotic of choice. But this guy was selling his right out of his home!
We figured him out one day when he came in a week early for his scheduled appointment. NO ONE in my practice ever got their Suboxone early. He threw such a fit in my lobby that my ex-wife Angie, who was the clinic manager at the time, literally pushed him out the door and told him to never come back.
Within a month or so, Leann called the clinic wanting an early refill. When asked why, she replied that, “my baby is dead.” While trying to keep her on the phone, we called the police who discovered Haley's body in their apartment. The rest is in this news article:
