Jute plantation

in jute •  7 years ago

I, had got a project to cultivate the jute in that area where it is not suitably grown usually due to the atmosphere, lack of nutrients and whatever be the production it get meaningless due to insect infestation, bacteria, fungi and nematodal attack. So, it was like a chalange for me and those also who are involved in agriculture sector and struggling to these type of problems.
I found after the lot of study on Indian farming system that we have enough area for cultivation and fortunately a favourable weather that support major diversity but unluckely we are lacking somewhere in this complex area of agriculture. Countries like China, USA, Mexico, Australia, Philippines are doing far better than us. They have less area of cultivation but they rank first for production of many crop where India stands 2nd or 3rd. The reason behind this is that we and our farmer are unaware of the machineries and technologies that are used in foreign countries.

We are supplied the best machineries that apply chemical pesticides and antibiotics in very short time to the large area and we did our best in growing that crop in highly pest infested field.
Basically, it was only a plot of 2X2m area and we achieved our goal.
Now our target is to reach to the farmer and tell them a best way by which they can also grow the same crop in their field and to give their share in economy of Nation.

Glad you were able to harvest some. Here in the USA we need to get back to sourcing our food from local growers. We have factory farms and there are unhealthy ramifications for all involved- including mother nature's animals, crops, and earth. Take care. Godspeed!
