K-Boppin': VIXX Back on Music Shows with Shangri-La

Hi Beautiful World!

I woke up this morning to a very pleasant surprise! A new performance of VIXX's Shangri-La was uploaded onto MBC's channel. My, my, what might this be?

Check it out:

VIXX is a 6-member K-Pop group formed in 2012 by Jellyfish entertainment and what really makes this group stand out among the rest are their concepts and performances. Each release is a theatrical production, from the song, lyrics, choreography, outfits, etc. Everything is beautifully crafted together to create a story and Shangri-La, their latest release is the latest and greatest of their evolution as artists.

Why is this new performance so significant? Shangri-La was released back in May of 2017. VIXX performed a remix version for MBC's Gayo Daejun (end of year music festival) on December 31st, and it was so well received they have been trending so much to comeback onto music shows!

VIXX is one of my ultimate favorite groups and they hold a very special place in my heart for being the very first K-Pop act I got to see in concert. Shangri-La is such a beautiful release, and just listening to the song does not hold a fan (haha get it!?) to watching their live performances.

The sound of the fans opening in sync, the mixture of contemporary dance, and N's smug smile (Ooo, yeah I see you smiling there N). VIXX is a very popular group but at the same time I feel like they are sometimes underrated in the overall K-Pop spectrum. So, I'm just super siked these performances are receiving more love. It really is mesmerizing to watch their stages and if you liked the performance, be sure to check out their music video too! I'll place the link conveniently right here.

I got them VIXX feels all tingling all over again!

I’ll have to check out more of their stuff after watching the video! My Spotify was still connected to the Bluetooth in the car and Lars was thrown off by it. 😆
