Hello From the Land of 860 + languages and ethnicity

I am posting from Papua New Guinea, country of close to 8 million people. What is so so amazing is that we speak 860+ different languages and ethnic groupings. It is truly a country of united nations. A wonder to behold how God created this and placed in this small island nation in the Pacific Ocean. The country is covered by 80% of total dense tropical vegetation. From the misty mountains to the white sandy beaches of coast, our people truly define the colloquial " Unity in Diversity". It is still a developing country and the populace live off the land as subsistence farmers. Life is pretty relaxed and simple, yet full of satisfaction because you cannot get enough of the beauty that surrounds you. People are easy going and hospitably loving.
Coming from the back pages of this wonderland and thrust into the era of modernism, I find community can be one connected group of people sharing ideas on a single platform, that is truly beyond comprehension. Truly the internet world, and Steemit for this matter has revolutionized and redefined the traditional norms of identifying to certain groups. This virtual world is heck of a thing. Let me relax and take time to meet new friends beyond my boundaries, not possible in my fathers generation and prior but I can today. huli wigmen photo.jpg
