A fossil of a new herbivore dinosaur was discovered 72 million years ago in Japan.
TheJapanTimes reported that the dinosaur, whose entire skeleton was found by a team from Hokkaido University, was a new type of herbivore Hadrozor.
Japanese dragon god meaning "Kamuysaurus japonicus" given the name of an eight-meter-long dinosaur, 72 million years ago, lived in the late Chalk period and was alive when it weighed 5.3 tons.
The dinosaur fossil is the largest ever found in Japan , a portion of the tail of the animal was discovered in the north of the country in 2013, the entire skeleton was revealed in later excavations.
The details of the discovery were published in "Scientific Reports".
