How to Change or Update Your Kapwing Email Address
You must have used either Facebook or Google to sign up before creating your first Kapwing project. Signing in with Facebook or Google makes Kapwing really easy to setup - no need to fill a form with your date of birth or favourite uncle’s name. But now, you would like to update the email address associated with your Kapwing account. Yes?
In this article, I'll show you how to update the email address associated with your account. Before we begin, I would love to remind you that you either signed up with Facebook or Google, not your actual email address.
Now, let me show you how to update the email address associated with your Kapwing account in just a few minutes.
I signed up with Facebook.
Great, me too!
So the easiest way to update your Kapwing email address after signing up with Facebook would be to login to the Facebook account you used to sign up on Kapwing and update your primary email address.
You can do this by:
- Visit Facebook.com on your computer
- Sign in
- Go to Settings (https://www.facebook.com/settings)
- In the General tab, go to contact and change your primary email address to your new email address.
Here is a little screenshot of the settings page and what to change.
I signed up with Google.
Google doesn’t allow users to change their email addresses but no worries.
You can add an alternate email address for sign in:
Visit your Google account settings page (https://myaccount.google.com)
Click on Personal Info
Click on Contact Info (Email)
Then go to Advanced
And add an Alternate Email and save

Updating your email on either Facebook or Google would update your Kapwing account email address as well.
