Actress Kim Kardashian and boxing star Floyd Mayweather will win a court case against people who invested money in the EthereumMax (EMAX) cryptocurrency. In January, investors filed a lawsuit against an artist and an athlete who advertised the EthereumMax project. The plaintiffs claimed that they bought digital assets at an inflated price due to the PR campaign of Kardashian and Mayweather and accused them of fraud. On November 7, during a preliminary hearing, Judge Michael Fitzgerald sided with the defendants and stated the following: Investors' lawyers are trying to act like the US Securities and Exchange Commission, but do not consider tokens as securities and do not present standard charges of securities fraud.
