We all watched Brett Kavanaugh perjure himself in front of the Supreme Court. Why was this not addressed? I genuinely do not understand. Please respond with any and all thoughts.
My own opinion: I’m starting to think we may all have died a long time ago, and this is actually hell.
He did it numerous times, didn't he? And mostly got away with it all (reputation aside, of course).
What I found particularly fascinating was the fact that the FBI investigation was so insubstantial. It was as if they were trying to prove a point, that they're not 'anti-Trump' (even though the special counsel continues with its investigations).
Whilst America is hardly alone in having a rotten system where corruption is rife (in fact, it's probably more legitimate than the vast majority of systems around the planet, still), I keep thinking it can't get any more surreal or ridiculous. And then it does. Troubling times we're in, indeed....
