Kayode Akinsola is an Advocate & Solicitor, who graduated from the Nigeria Law School in 1968. He began his professional career at the Lagos State Legal Aid Commission where he was appointed Director of Legal Services in 1974. In 1976, he joined a London-based law firm as a member of its legal team.
After returning to Nigeria in 1978, Mr Akinsova joined the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Corporation as its Legal Adviser. He later became a Senior Partner in this same law firm which later became part of Alexander Forbes Nigeria Limited (AFN). From 1997 to 1999, Mr Akinsova was Managing Partner at AFN’s Nairobi branch when it was known as Kilnwood Chambers before it changed its name again to KAPCO Chambers after merging with another law firm called KAPCO which had been operating for about three decades before joining AFN.”
