FiveThirtyEight has an excellent piece on all the potential vice presidential candidates detailing their pros and cons.
As they note many voters don't know about any of them. So for better or worse they will be defined as the candidate. I think people underestimate that in regards to local favorites like Beshear or Whitmer.
Likewise they are generally liked among those that do know them. As I've been saying it is a super deep bench this year, so Harris can't really go wrong.
My preferences would be Kelly, Cooper, or Shapiro. They all would be helpful on the ticket.
