Years have placed countless hours of distance

Moments created between our souls. From a hot
Morning cup of coffee to family guy and Roman;
I am always reminded with flashes of us sharing
These moment, creating these moments to
Remember for years to come. Fair square; I will
Admit I can be stubborn, frustrating, and even
More of an asshole but you were always my
Twinkie. Standing next to me fighting for the same
Thing; a love more beautiful than the brightest
Star filled night sky, more passionate than
the words of Shakespeare, a love so rare and unique.
Sitting here now with more time to think than one
Should need; I have come to realize my mistakes,
I stood against you when I should have been
Standing with you. I failed to see the bigger
Picture weighing in the background of our small
World; I failed you as I fought against you. As each
Flash hits me, my soul is torn between laughter
And pain while I am forced to realize time and time again
This is on me: the absence of words between us is
On me, for I have never been good at speaking out. Maybe
With a little hope one day I can make the wrongs
Right but until then I will forever cherish our memories
And when I go to make that cup of coffee Or buy
That extreme monster I will smile when I see that
Goofy smile of yours come across My mind; for
