LOOK WHAT I BUILT.....

The mini Tumbler by Ken Killeen of Terran Sky
www.TerranSky.com

A tumbler built from scrap parts that can be used for mixing, abrasing, polising, granulating, grinding and cleaning.
A smallscale piece of lab equipment but very versatile.

The circuit was salvaged from an old pedestal fan, making the switch housing from Ferrero Rocher box. It privided the motor, cord, 450v starter cap, and switches.
The drive roller is made from hose and pvc, supported by a curtain rod holder.
The front two passive rollers are the wheels from an old fridge and the board is scrap composite from a drawer set.
Rubber bands and latex strips provide better friction to help rotate the barrel.
The barrel was an old discarded reagent vat.
All up it didnt cost me a cent to throw together.
And, thanks to the fan controller, it now has 3 speed settings for use.

Bring on the apocalypse.
It dont scare me :p
Lol

Keep sciencing. Xx
