Not all Terran Sky is hard work, science, and nature rescue... Every now and then I like to let my hair out, so to speak, and fly aircraft that I build.
This flight shows footage of a mobius-HD camera mounted above the canopy of a delta winged aircraft.
I used "The Invader's" fuselage after a previous burn out incident.
This flew well, but I wanted to give it that Tim Allen Touch... so... Gutting the entire thing to replace it with a hefty receiver, a 25A speed controller, a 2200KV motor, and an upgrade to a larger battery- now pulling several options from 11.1V or a 7.4V cells, ranging from 350-610mAH, which seem to work well. In fact, I had the most success with the 11.1V 50C!.. well before I fried it too. muhahaha. This video is shot consequently with the weaker 7.4V 610mAH cell, which still gave a few minutes of flight at least.
So come fly with me on a glorious dawn circuit, across the wide Australian countryside, my own back yard.
