Kerala is struggling with the biggest devastation of the century. In 100 years, such a devastation has not seen Kerala. Over 350 people have lost their lives. More than 8 lakh people are living in relief camps. A red alert was issued in 11 of the 14 districts of the state which has now been withdrawn. Idukki and Ernakulam are completely cut off from the rest of the state. Hundreds of rescue teams are engaged in whole life in the midst of the worst situation. Whether Army, Navy, Air Force, NDRF, ITBP are fully prepared for all relief and rescue work. Due to water filling, Kochi airport has been closed till August 26. But in place of Kochi Naval Airbase, it will be used for commercial flights from Monday.
