Drunkdeer A75 Ultra Keyboard Reviewed

The Drunkdeer A75 Ultra is a new magnetic switch keyboard, improving upon the A75 Pro with better compatibility and performance. It comes in two versions: one with Gateron Jade Pro Magnetic Switches ($159) and another with TTC POM Magnetic Switches ($179). Both are linear, factory-lubed, and have a 3.4mm total travel. The A75 Ultra supports the KS-20 standard, making it compatible with various Gateron and TTC switches, unlike previous Drunkdeer models using Raesha switches.

A major upgrade is the 8000Hz polling rate, reducing latency to 0.45–0.50ms, outperforming competitors like the Wooting 60HE and Nuphy Field75 HE, though slightly behind the Wooting 80HE. The keycaps are of excellent quality, unlike many magnetic switch keyboards, and offer a great typing and gaming experience.

The Drunkdeer Antler software is still in beta, missing features like Mod Tap and macro settings, but retains essential gaming functions such as Rapid Trigger and RT Match, which optimizes settings based on user behavior.

Overall, the A75 Ultra offers excellent performance, great switches, a solid build, and high-quality keycaps, making it a strong recommendation despite minor software limitations.
