شعر از خیام

پیش از من و تو لیل و نهاری بوده است
گردنده فلک نیز بکاری بوده است

هرجا که قدم نهی تو بر روی زمین
آن مردمک چشم‌نگاری بوده است

poem by khayyam:

before there was you and I, there was  night and day -

the universe was also in motion.

wherever you step foot on earth,

know that it already had an eyewitness.
