Rapid Action Battalion RAB has arrested a 'harassed man' in the Sunderbans raid.

RAB-8 deputy commander Major Sohel Rana Prince said that he was arrested on Monday from the Kholapetua river bank of Shyamnagar upazila of Satkhira, in the Sunderbans West Division.
Shariul Islam, 30, son of Mofazzal Gazi of Pisakhali village of Shyamnagar upazila of Satkhira district.
RAB has claimed that he is an active member of the Vanbandhu army.
At that time, a Katraifail, a piped song and six bullets were recovered from him.
Major Sohel said that on the basis of secret information that the 4/5 members of the Vanbandhu Jones Force, preparing for robbery in fishermen's boat, RAB members raided the area.

"At that time they tried to escape from the presence of RAB and RAB members chased Sharif, but others fled."
He said, in initial interrogation, he admitted that he was an active member of the Vanbandhu army. He will be handed over to Shyamnagar Police Station in Satkhira.
