Kuala Lumpur: Kia will soon launch a new SUV called seltos in Malaysia. Earlier in September, nazakia officially previewed the model and opened orders; however, the price remains to be revealed.
The all-new Kia Seltos features unique design details designed to enhance the standard of a compact SUV. When it comes to its lighting system, engineers have carefully designed the “heartbeat lighting” of this sports and compact SUV, which is full of thinking and passion, and has a turning command on the road. Its complex lighting design includes full LED headlights, taillights, and redesigned icecube fog lights. The upper part of the front grille is also equipped with an LED bar light to provide additional highlights for night driving. These lights not only illuminate at night, but also in broad daylight.
Crown jewel headlights include heartbeat daytime running lights and sleek turn signals. At the rear of the car, 3D multi-layer indicator lights bring a distinct attraction to the SUV and make the road view clearer. The three-dimensional flow of light and fine and detailed images of tail lights connect the huge fender to the rear of the car, expressing its beauty.
The distinctive design is not limited to the appearance, because the interior of Seltos is a masterpiece in the real sense. It features the future and high-quality materials and a range of high-tech features, convenience, connectivity and comfort. The spacious and multifunctional cab is equipped with an instrument panel, which adopts asymmetric layout to create a cockpit environment for the driver.
In addition, the new Seltos also shows off its strong presence through the brand’s iconic tiger nose grille, long hood with rough shoulder lines and metal muffler effect on the rear bumper.
Naza Kia Malaysia provides Seltos with two different options - EX and GT series, which are powered by a unique 1.6-liter gamma MPI naturally aspirated four cylinder engine, which outputs a maximum power of 123 PS at 6300 rpm and a peak torque of 151 nm at 4850 rpm. The driving force is transmitted to the front wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission.
