In 2005 I visited them the first time.
John who works there is a nice guy and I had unforgettable good times. He always gave me a fat discount because I am making all my money on the streets as a poet and rock the fucking place - and am a good guy. Or he just likes me.
Day after day, year after year I went there and sometimes a new shopseller worked there and the good times continued. I remember that one time Flava Flav invited me for his 20 year anniverary tour but I was with a friend who didn't like hip hop and decided to not go there. I talked to Willy Nelson too, a really good guy. I remember how he smiled at me as I was wearing some crow feathers in an old hat of my dead grandfather.
Until one day there was this mega-bearded guy working behind the bar. A classic bully. Not friendly, making fun of me just because he didn't like me for some reason but I said fuck it. I was coming here for 10 years and he will sooner or later accept me or change or leave but nope!
So each time I came there and he wasn't there it was awesome. The good old times with John and his wife or girlfriend, good people. But every time the new guy was there my mood got ruined by him. He called me to talk to him with an ugly voice and an ugly movement with his hand. When I smoked my e-cig he told me to stop and leave the place (the others never said anything) and now after a few years he's been there the people (even the ones in the Cannabis College, lol) tell their customers it would be not so perfect to go there because "they" do not treat the people good. It's actually just the bearded weirdo.
I really wonder what happened! Did John employ now a guy who works for the mafia and cannot kick him out because he threatens him or did John change and is off his mind? I don't know.
So one time the bearded guy told me to stand up from my seat and when I asked why he didn't tell me (what?) besides many more actions like that. The new small smurf who works there to check the ID's since a while doesn't have an opinion of his own and just does what he is being told. We always shaked hands so I thought he would be cool. So everyone I was talking to at the little tables was on my side but they didn't say anything. It is difficult to say something, I understand that, but please people have some balls next time. Fucking pussies!
I told him that I would never come to this shit place again after John told me that he would not talk to me at the moment after the bearded man was so rude to me and this post is for reminding me about exactly that. To not go there anymore.
These people, who treat others bad because they simple don't like them are the worst scum on the planet! He appears in one Simpsons episode where they go to the Grey Area if you want to Google it. Why do they always feature the the unfriendliest people in their shows?
