Kicked-out Series: The Batavia Bar in Amsterdam

That's a good one!

So where should I begin?

It all started when I explored the Batavia "Bar" or however you want to call it.
I always went there and bought a beer and sat there for a couple of hours. I managed the timing so well that I always went out, told some poems, made money for the next beer and went in again (the whole day haha). Winter can be hard and I had the sympathy of the employees who knew that I always clean up after myself and was in a good mood. I don't know if anyone of you understands the feeling you get when successfully entertaining the whole city (better than what most users here ever experience - especially the guy who said that I would pester the people and whom I put on mute now). We joked and I had the time of my life. The soup is very good if you want to give it a try but the salad of the house is breathtaking!

But why did I get kicked-out when everything was so nice?

It was when I had to deal with the weird people in the Cannabis College that I decided to buy myself a microscope to be able to make high-quality pics of buds myself.

Problem: No money! (This is while others with whale friends got hundreds of bucks for only posting a bud-picture while I got 17 cents for high-quality blogging).

So I made a post to crowdfund it and guess who gave me 50 euros? Roe-The KING-land-p!

So I got the 50 euros and I was about to order it. But where to? I was sleeping outside and didn't have an address. The place where I hang out the most: The Batavia!

I had such a bad feeling because I normally ask the people when I pull shit like that first. This time I knew that they would say no but I didn't know where else to send it. So I just did it.

The next day or so I talked to my friend the cook and told him that I ordered a microscope and if he could check if it would have arrived or not. Well, you know how things go so after a while everyone knew that I was awaiting a parcel and everything went as usual until it arrived and the owner knew about it too :D

Oh oh!

I talked with the manager - by the way a very good guy - and he told me that the boss told him to only give me the package after opening it and checking what was inside. I could get the parcel but then I could never retun again. He told me that he would just follow what the boss said and that he personally wouldn't kick me out for that but that I would have to understand that I made a mistake and live with the consequences. And so we did.

The microscope was from a company he knew and he told me : "Ah I know that company, it's alright", but I wanted to prove that I didn't order body parts from the darknet and showed it to him. As a man of his word I never returned.

This post is to remind me to never go there anymore. I don't feel like giving the finger for that because the place is awesome and the people are my friends but what can you do?

This is how I got kicked-out from one of the most tolerant and nice bars/restaurants in the Venice of the North. My loved and at the same time hated bitch called Amsterdam!

Sorry to hear that. At least you got your microscope though :)

That was interesting to read something new on steemit i found

Awesome. Have you been kicked out lately? If yes, write about it and post your link here :)

High-quality blogging, you are right :D =)

cannabis is better anyway.

What we're you on when you typed this? I have no ff idea what you're on about. However, you fell into the same trap most non-dutch fall into, thinking 020 is a nice, relaxed and tolerant city.

Dude, forget 020, go to Rotterdam, you'll have a much better experience.
But be aware, in Rotterdam they will not tell you bullshit, it's all straight talking, you better know how to deal with that ;-0

been there done that, feiernoooord!

Too bad they didn't understand me. It was rthe place where I stayed most of the time and I did it with knowing that it could cause a problem but thought they would have a heart, which they did, just not the boss.
