Part 1
My life and my destiny changed at the young age living in East Africa (Cape Verde Island) felt unwell after while I was hospitalized, for 6 months and the doctors could not find out what health problem I had. After my late father traveled to Cape Verde to arrange to return with him back to Portugal (my parents had already immigrated to Portugal where they living). While over there he could not do anything to sort the paper work and tickets because of some much bureaucracy and he did not had any connection to get things done.
So I was left behind in the hospital, my condition got worsen, and through my sister husband, (they managed to arrange a scheme where I could travel with business person under their guard. The person who I had to travel with was a business woman as her son, she used to do business in different countries. I remember I had to practice my fake name and other details if I was asked at the airport control to give all the correct answer.
I was so afraid if they would stop me, however at the airport nothing happened everything went well, I managed to get through fine. Till today I own my life to this lady, otherwise I would be dead just remembered by name ..
I guess God was on my side he wanted me to do something in life, after followed up with doctors in Portugal was diagnosed at the earlier age (10 years old) with kidney failure, after spent 2,5 years on dialysis, ..
It was in the middle of evening I won the lottery (not Money) my father received a call from the Clinic a Compatible Donor was found and I was going to receive a Kidney Transplant,.I was so excited that I started rolling on the bed and my father told me off.
Fast forward had transplant and my working kidney has lasted for over 25 years. In the year 1999/2000 I decided to leave Portugal my parents house and pursue a Degree//Masters in the UK(studying abroad was daunting prospect).
Part 2
After arriving in the UK, ( Wales) never knew this Country existed until that day, it was one of my longest journey from London to Cardiff, I was astonished how the journey took so long. However my days of worries was just starting, during my time as student I suffered starvation(no food, cold weather, money shortage, alone with no family).
Finding a job was hard and difficult tried catering, working at restaurant, wanted to work on bars, however living far away from town center with no transport was impossible, there was a night I had to sleep at the train station.
Since I arrived in the country to study had to finish what I started, I remained strong until I finished my study. Fast forward little did I knew I was doing bad things, drinking, eating bad food, not sleeping properly, getting cold and other things..Also I was buying some prescriptions from the counter which was bad also.
As young man your are brave, so I completely removed from my memory that I had a serious condition (kidney Transplant) and I needed to be very careful with it,. Also I recall my doctor told me be careful with ( unprotected sex) because I could die from HIV due to my condition.
I decided to stay in the UK to gain work experience and return at later stage, however fast forward 2017/18 in the last 2/3 years the Doctors advised me my kidney was failing slowly, however as per norm here in the West the doctors just do not have any further knowledge on how to help you, wait for the kidney to fail and start dialysis. Still I did not put much though into, I just did not believe it. So I lived my life as normal until 2018 Boommmm it eat right on the face.
I was at the hospital again the bad condition and the doctors told me Kidney has failed I will need dialysis. I recall previously done some research about kidney condition came across the hospital in China got in touch with doctors there they asked me to come to China, I just did not believe it was possible to repair and get my kidney working not to full capacity but at the least you stop dialysis.
Part 3
After started dialysis felt really worst, it seem to be affecting me really bad, having to go through the same process again 3 days a week where the nurses put 2 Needles on your arm and the machine clean your blood, its not all bad at the least it does keep you alive for a while.
I do not like dialysis I decided to pursue my contact with the Chinese Medicine Dr Kenson, I have nothing to lose its only money. Unfortunately my cash flow was low, after had various chats with doctor Kenson from Tongshantang Hospital I agree with the treatment plan, to pursue it and did not tell anyone except family members.
I notice they want you to come to China, "its like they are recruiting patients" they entice you however you need to travel to Beijing.
I was able to sorted out the visa in 1 months, bought the tickets and prepared my journey to China, I was scared my flight was on the 18/09/2018 long hall arrive in Beijing on 19/09/2018 the Hospital staff went to pick me up, I was so tired. Had terrible time during the fight my ankles got swollen up and it was painful started moving up/down during the flight still didn't worked. Unfortunately no member of my family was able to travel with me...Continue
