coloured bubble mix and coloured water. This has to be one of my favourites, it's a great way of exploring colour mixes, the amazement of mixing two entirely different colours to produce an entirely different one. It has the added bonus of a great cool down activity on a hot day, and far less clear up than paints. Providing a pipette is great for developing fine motor skills, and encouraging basic math understanding when 'measuring' out water. But you may simply provide the three primary colours red, blue and yellow, and a paint pallete if that's what you have available. It's still valuable learning experience and sure to be fun. For bubble painting add some food colouring to bubble mix and blow bubbles at paper watching them pop to create truly unique and fun artwork.
