Mom 6-month-old girl was accused of cruelty because of piercing from her daughter

June 28, the mother of six children living in Ohio, Enedina Vance, published on Facebook a photo of her smiling six-month-old daughter, in the dimple of her cheek allegedly inserted an earring.

This photo of Enedin accompanied by a very provocative fast: "I pierced my little daughter! It looks nice, does not it? I'm sure she'll like it! She will thank me when she grows up. Well, if she decides that she does not like it, she will simply take it out, it's something. I am a mother, this is my child, and I will do whatever I want with him! I will take all decisions for her until she hits 18. I gave birth to her, and she is my property! I do not need anyone's permission to get her pierced, I think it's cool and beautiful, so I put her earring in a dimple. And this is not violence! If this were so, the piercing would have been illegal, but it is not. Every day people make piercings to their children, this is also piercing, no difference. And do not judge me, it's none of your business at all! "

The post, which has already gained 10,000 likes and more than 13,000 publications, was accompanied by a number of hashtags that explained the essence of what Enedin really wanted to say: #MyBodyMyChoice (my body is my choice), # Human Rights (human rights), #ChildrensRights (Children's rights), #sarcasm (sarcasm). But many of the nearly 150 commentators did not pay attention to them and understood everything absolutely "on the forehead," furiously attacking the woman.

Users were led to trolling and accused Enedina of being a real monster, cruel to the child, promised to contact social services to take her children from her, demanded that the Facebook administration remove her post. Moreover, Enedeen has received and continues to receive threats of murder.

Meanwhile, she did not pass the earring to her baby's cheek, it was a photoshop. As Enedin explained in her subsequent post, in such a shocking way, she just wanted to start a discussion on the Web about the right of parents to dispose of their children's bodies while they are too small to give their consent. The woman believes that violating the physical integrity of the child's body by aesthetic (piercing the girls ears), cultural or religious reasons (circumcision) is completely unacceptable.

Enedina says that she is very happy about such a violent reaction of social networks to her post. Seeing the "piercing" on the cheek of her daughter, people finally thought about the child's right to physical integrity, even for this, Enedina had to become the object of hatred and persecution.
