Behind the Scene

Sculpture

#LIGHTSETUP

Instead of taking pictures in some art museum - try to make your own sculpture.

And here is bout ..."how that was done"

To make a photo - you need a model. This could be complicated, but possible. Then get the best body painting colors.... He he he... Best colors are quite expensive. To make it cheaper, go to building market and buy bronze powder and "baby oil". Bronze is cheap, oil as well. Mix it. Now you have perfect oil paint !

If you already have a model and a color (photo camera. of course) - easy job left: take a brush, paint and make your model golden.

Your job result could not satisfy in first view........ But now you are ready to take the pictures of your masterpiece.
One pose would be not enough, so make many shots, now it's digital :)

To make it more realistic - take a hammer and break off her hands or head ... to make an antique look. Oh no ... I'm kidding... better use a Photoshop.

Good luck !

And as a tips:

Wash with warm water and a soap :)))))

Really good work!

Thank you

There is something oddly compelling about the "behind the scenes" picture where you can see the model is standing in a box with holes cut out - the juxtaposition of the beautiful glowing bronze skin of the model and the hastily cut and taped box is really interesting. I might like that picture better than the photoshopped final product. As always, your photography is very striking and I really appreciated the discussion of making your own bronze body paint in such easy fashion (!) and the behind the scenes look of your shoot.

Cheers - Carl
