I took this picture of a hairy fly on mint flowers in my backyard. Fly is not something I think of as pretty insect, but in macro mode, the details of it from head to toe convinced me otherwise. It is quite an interesting insect and it has a duty to perform as well.

The only time I do like flies is on macro shots. They are annoying creatures. But so interesting when you can see all the details.
