Act of kindness

Kindness is the act of been kind, while growing up, what comes to my mind whenever I hear the word " kindness " was giving but it definitely entails alot more to it.
Mind you I didn't say giving is not an act of kindness but giving with body, mind and soul and expecting nothing exactly in return.

I was on my way back from church earlier today and it was raining, quite heavily. I boarded a taxi home, on my way, I saw a lady and her child struggling to make it out of the rain, I was touched within, even if not for my act of kindness but for the sake of her child. I told the driver to pull over beside the lady and her child for them to come in. To summarize it all, I gave her a lift home and paid for it, definitely I wasn't expecting anything from her even if she tried to give me something but she actually said something that means a lot to any material things and that was " thank you very much and may God bless you " and I replied Amen!! .

Most times we do put some act of kindness in other to expect something in return but do you actually know that a well spoken Thank you and God bless you means and worth a lot to any material things.

There are more than a thousands ways to show kindness to some, to put a smile on someone's face and to save a life today. Remember been kind mustn't involve your money, most times your actions, words and so on shows a great act of kindness.

I'll strongly encourage each and every one to learn how to show some act of kindness even if it's small, little or big for you don't know what that means to the person
