I've heard some people consider kindness as a gift. That may be true poses no falsehood to such fact. On the other hand, have you looked into the exact meaning of kindness? Let me break it down a little.....
Kindness is a life style we all are expected to live. It should be a culture to live and act on, not just for any specific time, but for every moment of our lives. It's something that has to be part of our lives, wether it is conducive for us or not. It's a call vested on each and every one of us to assist and support each other in living a good life. Nature made no mistake bringing us all together on Earth, I consider that a privilege to contribute to someone around me.
The main essence of our existence is not just for us to come here, live our lives anyhow and go. There is a purpose for our existence, and I strongly believe it has to do with something that reflects the people around us. Someone brought us here on Earth, and someone else is here or will be coming here on Earth through us. If we understand this perspective properly, it will help us shape our conduct and attitudes to others.
No one brought himself to this world all by himself.....
There's something you can do to better someone's life. If you must seek to get anything from others to better your life, first do the things you can to better other lives.
Develop the attitude of kindness, act it everywhere and to everyone you meet. That's part of our call as humans here on Earth.
People are already going through a lot, show some kindness as you go out each day.
