The Warriors defeat the Rockets for a trip to the 2017-18 NBA Finals!

Well it came to this, Game 7 between the Warriors and the Rockets. Who would represent the West against the Cavaliers in the 2017-18 NBA Finals? Houston had the home court advantage and the momentum after stealing Game 4 and 5 from the Warriors (in my opinion). But with that said they also are without their second best player in Chris Paul (hamstring injury). Nevertheless, the Rockets came out firing and had the Warriors down by double digits at half time. But the second half is usually when the Warriors are at that best, and that was true tonight as Golden State defeated the Rockets 101-92. Steph and Durant caught fire scoring 61 of 101 points for the Warriors (Steph 27, Durant 34). Klay Thompson was clutch as well scoring 19 points total for the game. The Warriors defense clamped down on the Rockets offensive attack in the second half. Houston missed 27 straight three pointers at one point in the game. They hit only 7 out 44 from three. James Harden came up short in the clutch for Houston. He scored a team high 32 points but was 12 of 29 shooting from the field. Eric Gordon was key in trying to keep the Rockets close/competitive. He was more aggressive in the second half by attacking the basket, scoring 23 points and tallying 6 assists. But sadly for the Rockets, it wasn't enough as they lose the series to the Warriors. The NBA Finals is set. The Cleveland Cavaliers vs the Golden State Warriors: The 4th Chapter. Can the Cavs even the Finals series 2-2 or will the Warriors go up 3-1 to dominate the Finals matchup. Get your popcorn ready, Game 1 is Thursday at Golden State. (Click the photo above for highlights!)
